Adapting to COVID-19

With the current state of affairs being what they are, we’ve all been adapting to our ever changing circumstances. We at New England Reserve strive to provide safe, clean access to a medicine so many find essential and have therefore taken steps to encourage social distancing and reduce our patients’ risk of infection. We’ve been carefully considering options for the past week and are confident our new process will be as pleasant and efficient as the old one! Here are some of the changes we’ve made;

  • We’ve shut down our show room. While it limits your ability to peruse, it also limits the number of surfaces you come into contact with that may be contaminated. We will instead be selling products through our check in window—you tell us what you want, we go grab it. That simple.

  • We are encouraging phone orders. For patients that want to discuss products, or who just have a hard time making up their mind before last minute, we have menus that will be updated daily for you to look over in the waiting room. Brendan and I will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

  • Sanitation efforts have been heightened—there are bottles of hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes available to patients at point of transaction and frequently touched surfaces are wiped down often.

We know we provide a necessary service for many and we have no intention of letting anyone down. We will be here rain or shine for anyone who needs medicine to get them through. A large number of our patients fall into the high risk category and we ask that you respect their health as well by washing your hands frequently and keeping 6 feet between yourself and other patients. Your health and wellbeing is our top concern, and we ask you to be patient as all of us learn how best to cope. As the crisis evolves we will be continuously reevaluating and possibly instating further changes should the need arise—keep checking the blog for updates. We’ll all get through this together… with a little help from our friends 😉
